Ive Stevenheydens


Ive Stevenheydens is a curator and a writer. He has developed dozens of exhibitions and projects for amongst others ARGOS, PILAR and Botanique (Brussels), De Brakke Grond (Amsterdam), Image Forum (Tokyo, Fukuoka, Kyoto, Nagoya and Yokohama), Experimenta (Melbourne) and The Reading Room (Bangkok). He recently published on Hadassa Ngamba, Anna Bella Geiger, Kader Attia (in Metropolis M), Jacques Moeschal (Archined), Thierry Zéno (Fantômas), Tujiko Noriko (Not So Difficult), Ali Cabbar (the artist publication System Error) and Emmanuel Van der Auwera (the book Emmanuel Van der Auwera: A Certain Amount of Clarity). He regularly teaches and gives guest lectures, including at Curatorial Studies (KASK, Ghent), Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris and La Cambre (Brussels). He is currently working as a researcher and a curator at the Laboratory of Evolutionary Biology of Professor Karine Van Donick (Université Libre de Bruxelles).
