Barbora Klímová


Barbora Klímová (*1977) graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno and also studied at the Hoger Instituut voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerp. She paid a study visit to the Winchester School of Art at the University of Southampton. Barbora creates conceptual interventions into the both gallery and public spaces, often working with archived material, exploring how its contents may influence and shift our apprehension of the past. Barbora Klímová was a resident artist to ISCP in New York, MuseumsQuartier 21 in Vienna and Koninklijke Akademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Haag. Apart from a number of Czech art galleries she exhibited her works e.g. at the Czech Center in New York or at Budapest Off Bienale
