Gert Robijns wants to evoke an experience. He plays along with situations from daily life, but does this in such a way that the visitor suddenly becomes aware of his physical relationship with the surroundings. A combination of image, sound and sometimes even scent contributes to this. Often, the work also interacts with the visitor: it changes for example when it is approached by the viewer.
