Denicolai & Provoost work together since 1997. Within the aesthetic and political intimacy of their artistic digestive process, they question the artistic freedom given to artists in our Western, supposedly democratic societies. By putting temporary occupations on legs they double reality and confront the signals and limits of public space, as well as the relationship between the public and the intimate sphere.
