SJB ° 1964 lives and Works in Brussels and has been exhibiting since 1993. She works with different mediums such as painting, photography, drawing, 3D and video. SJB starts from making simple elements (clay, plaster, cardboard, drawing,painting) or recovering basic materials such as A4 sheets lying around in the studio. They become laying compositions of loose elements that can be suspended through photography, drawing, painting or 3D printing. 

This necessary reproduction highlights the positional nature of a work in space and the impact of the medium on the concept.

In this process, SJB confronts us with the relationship between production and reproduction, dépôt and composition, the displayed and the stored in a kind of mise en abyme.
