Dirk Hendrikx is performer and visual artist. The foundation of all the works amounts from the dialogue of nature with the human instinct and notices poetic images. He brings an ode to the origin of human being. Dirk created a series of physical trances that mark a strong emotional and physical expression. As performer he uses his body and movement to tell a store. The sculptures he makes show a contact between human being and animals in a way they represent a confrontation/exchange. As an artist he always reflects himself and the society and he searches the foundation of human being, his instinct.
