CC Mechelen/de Garage
De Garage, a space for contemporary art, is the art exhibition space for CC Mechelen's visual arts program. It wants to provide added value to the existing museums and arts centres. De Garage consciously targets smaller scale projects and an intense production of new exhibitions with special attention to younger artists. New artists and artistic expressions can feature side by side to more established names and disciplines. De Garage also regularly highlights the oeuvre of influencial artists of the (recent) past. Together with CC Strombeek in Grimbergen, De Garage organises a series of exhibits under the moniker bkSM (beeldende kunst Strombeek/Mechelen).
