Frédéric de Goldschmidt Collection

In 2009 Frédéric de Goldschmidt begins to exhibit some of his artwork acquisitions on a ground floor at the corner of the rue de Barchon and the rue d’Ophem, mostly because his own home could no longer house all the pieces. Since 2010, he has organised exhibitions presenting works of his collection to the visitors of Art Brussels and giving the local public the opportunity to discover artists who are not (or barely) represented in galleries.

In 2022 he opens Cloud Seven in Brussels. Cloud Seven is a 1,500 m² exhibition, co-working and living space with works from the Frédéric de Goldschmidt Collection spread throughout seven floors. The front building, built in the 1820s, includes areas for co-working, two flats, two studios for short-term stays, a multimedia room, a bar and a gym. The rear building, built in the 1920s, is designed to host temporary and semi-permanent exhibitions.
