Some galeries do not only sell art works, but also engage with the artist to support research and artistic development.
Crown Gallery
Crown Gallery is based in Knokke as a gallery for contemporary art featuring painting, sculpture, photography and installation by established as well as up-and-coming artists.
Spanning a period of over twenty years, the gallery hosted over hundred exhibitions, among which solo-exhibitions by acclaimed artists such as Juan Muñoz, Leon Golub, Nancy Spero, Jan Schoonhoven, Paul Graham.
In 2019, all activities were moved from Brussels to Knokke, with acurrent location in the vibrant area of Het Zoute. These days, the gallery continues the presentation of its most established artists and also uses its experience to introduce young promising and emerging artists such as Jana Cordenier and Stijn Ank.
