AedO offers youthful and catchy folk music. And that is no surprise, considering that most of this folk-rock group's members are barely 20 years young. For all that, they have been performing for seven years now and already released two CDs. Their repertoire consists of their own compositions with mainly instrumental sounds and some sung numbers. And there's also always a solid and pert cover of Iron Maiden cruising the set. So the laudatory critics, both in professional trade journals and trendy youth magazines, were not long in coming. Moreover, AedO has performed at just about every folk festival in Belgium! For example, they already played at three editions of the Dranouter Folkfestival. In the summer of 2005, the group played at Germany's biggest folk festival. And a year later, they returned to Germany to bring the house down at the Malzhaus music club. In recent years, AedO has developed a solid folk-rock sound. At Rock Affligem, they easily proved their ability to command large rock platforms. And after the Gentse Feesten (10 days of festivities in the city of Ghent), they can now also add the "Nekka Nacht" event at the Antwerp Sportpaleis to their list of honours.
