Tom Van Acker

At age 12, Tom gets the offer to record an own composition in a small studio in his hometown. He plays the keyboards.

He studies drums and double bass at the music school of Hasselt.

In 2001 Nostoc's debut album 'Too Big for his Boots' is released.

In 2002 he starts teaching bass at the 'MuziekODroom' in Hasselt.

In Juli 2005 Tom wins the Jong Jazztalent contest in Gent as bassplayer of the Carlo Nardozza Quintet (jazz).

Late 2005: Tom's composition 'Big Time!' gets noticed on the internet by the New Yorkish label KAM. They decide to put in on a compilation cd for radiostations and organisers throughout the state of New York, USA
