With the Christian Mendoza Group he is drawing on jazz to pop, over world music, cross-over, contemporary classical, free improv, through to music- and dance theatre.

This quintet's concerts can take on many forms: minimal landscapes, hectic chaos, complex rhythms and the pure simplicity of an uncomplicated song. Mendoza writes new pieces to measure, seeking the perfect balance between composition and improvisation.
