Pluto Ensemble

Pluto Ensemble

The Pluto ensemble is a new, variable vocal group that feels at home in different styles and brings a repertoire from the Middle Ages till today. Founding father and inspiring force Marnix De Cat wants to cope with our times of global disarray by offering music that is based on truth about human kind, with a message of beauty and the sheer joy of making music. The name refers to the dwarf planet Pluto, the third mystery planet of the Aquarius era to materialise. After Uranus and Neptunes, who influence the heart and the hea respectiely, Pluto represents the actualizing of the universal truth of human beings as higher beings, as vhicles of a microcosm. The Pluto ensemble has two Bach productions in the works: the St John Passion with il Gardellino, and the Mass in B minor in chamber choir strength.
