EARR
EARR (Ensemble Artists Repertoire Research), founded by Eric Thielemans in 2008, is a contemporary chamber music ensemble focusing on research and development of a new original music repertoire with a nurturing attitude towards the process of the work.
EARR’s output (whether it be an album, a scenographed performance, a reading, a regular concert, a movie, an installation, a book, or a mix of the above) is highly defined by the collection of it’s musicians.
Its musically eclectic line-up opens an imaginary soundmap from old music over jazz, free music, contemporary music, rock, songwriters and drones to soundscapes and electronic music. Much like the sonic result of most music aficionados’ ipod on shuffle we’d like to think.
Presently EARR works with a fixed line-up. Depending on the nature of some future projects the line up could occasionally vary.
