CC Belgica is the cultural centre of Dendermonde. Apart from a varied cultural programming, CC Belgica also organises exhibits of visual arts, in an attempt to compensate for the few venues for contemporary art in the region. Once a year, an external curator is asked to compose a group show and during its cultural season, CC Belgica also organises several smaller exhibits with mainly younger artists. The visual arts exhibitions always take place in Huis Van Winckel, an adjacent building of the arts centre.
