Sprookjes enzo is a young Antwerp-Venetian non-profit. Their own fairytale started in 2006, when the young Italian theatremaker Pietro Chiarenza encountered Maya Van Puymbroeck at the festival Zomer van Antwerpen. Pietro had come to the festival with the Italian circuscompany Arcipelago Circo Teatro; Maya was working there as a communication officer. Together with Margot De Group, a colleague of Maya and Marcello Chiarenza (Pietro's father), they decided to collaborate and start a company that would create enchanting theatre productions for the youngest audiences. Hence, Sprookjes enzo was born.
