On top of its extensive performative arts program, the Cultuurcentrum Brugge (CC Bruges) also plays an important role with respect to the contemporary visual arts. Its programming is threefold and is developed in three locations. The Bogardenkapel is a platform of creation for young, local and regional talent. De Bond presents the work of artists that are slightly more established and De Hallen pays attention to international developments, through group exhibitions. The emphasis is mainly on in situ projects (creative assignments) and the development of a solid publication policy. CC Bruges regularly organises international, thematical exhibits as well, focusing on important cultural and societal issues.
