Niko Goffin


Niko Goffin is an art historian with a focus on modern art (1840 - 1940), contemporary art after WWII till present and art of small-scale societies (African and Southeast Asian art). As a Master in Art Science and Ethnic Art since 1999, he has been curating exhibitions in Belgium and abroad with original perspectives since 2002.

In 2016, he becomes the director of the Ten Bogaerde Art Center with the municipality of Koksijde in collaboration with FRAC Grand Large and SMAK Ghent, among others.

As a freelancer, Niko is active as a curator, reviewer, lecturer, estimator and critic. He also provides advice on how to invest in art, on restoration, transport and presentation. Furthermore, he guides several artists in their administrative quest, so that they can fully concentrate on the creative part.
