Christoph Ruys


Christoph Ruys is a visual consultant, keynote speaker, writer and lecturer on visual culture and trends. He held several top positions in the creative industry, such as director of the FOMU Antwerp and the Fashion Museum in Antwerp. He was also director of the Antwerp Foto Museum where he worked on projects with big names such as Maison Martin Margiela, Getty Images and Dirk Bikkembergs. He also taught photo theory at the Catholic University of Leuven and Karel De Grote Hogeschool. In 2009 Christoph Ruys was brought to WPG Publishers Amsterdam to give a new look to publishing house Ludion. Also as a publisher, he tried to work with young talents and (internationally) established values. As a managing partner, he is now at the helm of the visual consultancy agency Icons and Kings.
