Nicola Setari


Nicola Setari is Campus Head of Visual Arts in Brussels. Among other things, he was involved in the artistic and educational component of dOCUMENTA (13) in Kassel in 2012 and in 2015 he was the curator of CONTOUR 7, a biennale for moving images, in Mechelen. Between 2006 and 2009, the Italian was editor-in-chief of the multidisciplinary art magazine 'Janus'. In 2010 and 2011 he was co-curator of the Visionary Africa platform at BOZAR in Brussels. He holds a PhD from the IUAV University of Venice on History of Architecture and Art. He also taught Visual Anthropology at the New Academy of Arts (NABA) in Milan and was a postdoctoral researcher at the Lieven Gevaert Centre in Leuven.
