Laurens Otto


Laurens Otto is a curator and critic. He is curator at Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens and is editor-in-chief of RESOLUTION Magazine, a print magazine that explores the impact of the digital image. His texts have been published by De Witte Raaf, De Appel, Sternberg Press, and nai010 / Prix de Rome. Otto worked as curator at Het HEM, Zaandam (2019-20), associate curator at Human Activities, Lusanga (2016-19) and assistant curator at Council, Paris (2015-16). Recently, he curated the exhibitions What Stories Want (AAIR and Kunsthal Extra City, Antwerp); Repatriation of the White Cube (Lusanga, DRC, with Cercle d’art des travailleurs de plantation congolaise); Mallification (Het Nieuwe Instituut, Rotterdam) and Hallucinations of the Normal (Snehta, Athens).
