Claire Contamine, born 1994 in Lyon, is a curator and art historian based in Brussels.
She holds a master of public law from Pantheon Assas University and a master of art history from Paris Sorbonne University.
A former curatorial assistant at Palais deTokyo in Paris (ON AIR, carte blanche to Tomás Saraceno) then head of curatorial team for the second edition of the Riga Biennial of Contemporary Art 2020 (and suddenly it all blossoms), she is part of the artistic team at Kanal Centre Pompidou in Brussels since September 2020. She co-curated its online radio Studio K. 
Her independent curatorial research revolves around craft practices, as well as the intersection of music and visual arts or the social impacts of patriarchy. She writes regularly for exhibition catalogues and art magazines such as L’art même or transmagazine.
