Kunst & Zwalm

Kunst & Zwalm is a biennial of contemporary art where artists create a unique and new work of art in a rural, natural biotope. The artists confront us with questions about artistic clichés, the vagaries of the consumer society, the growing control of public space or the way we treat nature. The artists' interventions provide a visual or physical experience during a creative exploration - preferably undertaken by bicycle. In this way, Kunst & Zwalm wants to ensure an ideal relationship between time, place, space, communication and the work of art.
