PAK Gistel

PAK seeks to engage in a dynamic and contemporary conversation with artists and the concept of space. PAK offers contemporary artists the opportunity to present their work in an indoor and outdoor setting. A two-hectare nature reserve between Bruges and Ostend. Untouched and unique. In addition to organizing temporary exhibitions, PAK will also create a permanent sculpture garden.

Both young, up-and-coming talent and renowned artists will be able to show their work at PAK. It is the intention to engage in a creative interaction with man and nature. Energetic and inspired. With a broad social idealism as a philosophical starting point. Where art can breathe and people are touched. Through beauty, creation or emotion. PAK aims to stimulate social-artistic engagement.

PAK, Platform for Contemporary Arts, opened an annex in Ostend in 2018. In an art deco building from 1925, located at 22 Oude Molenstraat, Tremplin and PAK Oostende show the work of both emerging and established artists. The site in Gistel will remain.
