De Donkere Kamer

de donkere kamer

De Donkere Kamer is a live magazine about photography and visual culture for anyone interested in visual trends. The first edition took place in 2016 and DDK has since been received by major cultural houses such as BOZAR, C-Mine, Bourla, Concertgebouw and OPEK.

De Donkere Kamer is led by 2 professional interviewers who receive 4 photographers or curators who come to present new projects or books in the broad field of photography and visual culture. DDK also welcomes 3 promising photographers who present their project to the general public during a 3-minute pitch in order to take home part of the entrance fee.
