Musea Brugge

Musea Brugge is a constantly evolving organization. In the ‘ALS ICH CAN Musea Brugge 2019-2023’ magazine, you can read all about our plans for the next five years, involving our collections as well as our organization. We are pleased to present our main goals in the fields of collection management, further stocktaking of our collections, the organization of exhibitions and collection presentations, scientific research, public activities, visitor participation and the acquisition of new works of art. 

Musea Brugge also aims to maintain a leading role in the further development of Bruges as a contemporary city of culture. In this publication, you will find information about our three major and significant infrastructural projects. The restoration of Gruuthuse has been completed and the new reception and ticketing pavilion has been inaugurated. And there is more to come: we also plan to build a central heritage depot for our 70,000 collection pieces and a brand new exhibition hall in the heart of Bruges.
