Troebel Neyntje

Troebel Neyntje is an alternative gallery in Antwerp that describes itself as an 'unrealistic initiative'. The gallery for and by young artists, doesn't heed concepts such as deconstruction or absurdism, and doesn't care for inappropriate seriousness. Troebel Neyntje tries to strip the art scene of its commercial and impenetrable shell, piece by piece, by means of humour and parody. The gallery is a concept where artists get the opportunity to show their work, or themselves at wor, reinforcing the link with the random passer-by and the quiet art lover.
