Project spaces often are started by artists who make use of infrastructure for artistic projects.
Kantine
Kantine is an artist-run exhibition space organised by Perri MacKenzie and Kevin Gallagher. The space began in 2017 in a canteen in Amsterdam and relocated to Brussels in 2018. We are now located on the fifth-floor of a former office building in the Level Five Studio Cooperative. As an artist-run space we develop exhibitions that allow artists to experiment with alternative formats, with close attention to the specificity of our unconventional space.
