Some galeries do not only sell art works, but also engage with the artist to support research and artistic development.
Gallery TRANSIT
Transist was founded in Louvain in 1988 and moved to Malines in 1998. Transit is a gallery that presents and promotes international contemporary art. The gallery is housed in an art deco building from 1930; in a separate gallery located in the back, every other month new exhibits are organised. In the house itself, one can discover permanent works by the artists from the gallery and from previous art shows. Transit is an initiative of 'arekipa bvba'.
