Archiraar Gallery

Archiraar Gallery was founded in 2012 by Alexis Rastel, architect. The Gallery represents emerging international artists. Presented works range from paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, videos to installations.

The Gallery's White Cube, opened in a brutalist building in Brussels. Following the ideology of a neutral place, the 3x3x9-metre space reflects on our usual contemporary way of exhibiting art. The Black Cube, complements the White Cube as its complementary space. Its enclosed space provides an intimate experience of the work on display. Those artists, with parallel solo exhibitions, displayed their work in both spaces of the gallery.

Combining the programmes of both spaces, the Gallery invites curators and artists to participate in group exhibitions. In addition, the Gallery will come up with publications to promote and disseminate the artists' work. With each exhibition, Archiraar comes up with artistic, moving projects.
