Yellow Art

Yellow Art is an artistic studio operation for people with mental vulnerability. We make art experience accessible to people with artistic competences who cannot (fully) find their way in the regular art circuit. Every week, some 30 participants work here on their own artistic oeuvre.

Yellow art is a safe place for meeting and imagination. We share space and exchange ideas. We are open to artistic cross-pollinations. From our creative biotope, we invite fellow artists to collaborate. Together, we seek connections with the outside world.

Yellow Art is located on the edge of the Public Psychiatric Care Centre in Geel. From this strategic position - on the border between psychiatry and society - we take the lead in using art to break through social frames of mind and normalise mental vulnerability.
