Sylver

Sylver (anno 2016)

Ever since the release of their debut single 'Turn the tide' and the album Chances Sylver has been hard at work opening doors all over the world. They’ve toured extensively from Canada to the Far East and from Eastern Europe to South Africa accumulating a veritable hoard of fans en route. During that time they’ve transposed their inimitable ‘live’ act to new levels. These days a Sylver gig is an experience that you won't forget. It’s a highly confident, professional performance that ranks up there with the best. Sylver is much more than another run-of-the-mill dance act. Their remarkable aptitude has not only produced a string of global mega-hit singles but also a fantastic album that has earned them gold and platinum sales awards along the way. One of the keys to their success is their unique way of combining ‘pop song’ features with belting dance beats, captivating listeners and enchanting live audiences whenever they perform. Throughout most of 2002, Sylver was hard at work preparing and recording material for their new and upcoming album ‘Little things’ which is now finally completed and ready to hit the stores in more than 20 countries. Most of the tracks were mainly written on guitar and piano and then demo’d with Silvy. The final recording and mixing incorporated an array of acoustic instruments stemming from ‘live’ guitars to simmering violins. The ground-breaking combination of electronic and live instruments accompanied by Silvy’s astounding sultry vocal performances is guaranteed to turn heads and turn on new recruits to the existing army of admirers. ‘Little things’ is a matchless fusion of pop/dance songs with instantly recognisable themes that cover a wide range of emotions and thoughts based around the vices and virtues of ‘life’. It’s an overwhelming, vivid whirlwind of sound that invigorates and encapsulates new ideas meanwhile maintaining that opulent ‘Sylver’ touch of class. The first single ‘Livin' my life’, taken from the forthcoming album, is an excellent example of what we can expect more of on the album. ‘Little things’ accurately reflects how this group’s talents have evolved and developed to attain new astonishing musical heights. Forthcoming singles from the album will include the fantastic “Why worry” & “Shallow water” two tracks that extol the genre of pop/dance at its very best and most promising. In oktober 2003 won Sylver, na vier keer genomineerd te zijn, een TMF Award in de categorie 'Beste Clip - Nationaal' voor de videoclip van "Why Worry".
