The Ebony-kwartet has, since its inception in 1993, built up a highly-respected reputation on the international circuit for its commitment to commissioning new music, innovative programming and virtuoso performances of new music.
They perform all over Benelux and have appeared at the International ClarinetFestival (1999 Belgium, 2002 Sweden), International Belgium Chocolats Festival (2001, 2003), Festival van Vlaanderen, Festival van Zeeuwsch Vlaanderen, GrachtenFestival in Amsterdam and Thorn (Netherlands), International ConcertenFestival Knokke-Heist, Ninth International Festival of Modern Art in Odessa, Ukraine (ISCM-member).
They perform in Ukraine, Mongolia and Lithuania in 2004.

The Ebony-kwartet was 2nd finalist of the Orpheus-Prize 2002 (International Biennale for the interpretation of contemporary chamber music).
