Snowflower is a project of singer/composer/actress Pascale Michiels and singer/sinologist Karen Van Camp. They selected Chinese love lyrics to exalt their musical appetites, creating a unique melange of West meets East. The result is an array of songs full of magnificent vocals, guitars, soothing rhythms, traditional Chinese sounds and sensual poetry of pronounced timeless style. Snowflower is in fact an intimate fusion of Chinese sensuality with the sonority of occidental culture. The songs overflow with hidden thoughts and interpretations. The music dances to the rhythm of attraction and rejection, excitement and ignorance, seduction and desire.
