After visiting the Musical “Jeckyll & Hyde” the Belgian, Peter Stassen, decided to become musical actor himself.

He took classes at dé Kunsthumaniora in Antwerp and graduated in the direction music theatre at the academy in Tilburg (Netherlands).

In Oss (NL) he played the title role in the musical Louis the Bourbon.

In the New Luxor Theatre in Rotterdam he played swing, chamberlain and cardinal Richelieu, in the Joop van den Ende production “The 3 Musketeers”.

He made its debut in Germany (Stuttgart) in the Polanski - musical “Dance of the Vampires” as Professor Abronsius and Koukol.

He charmed the Belgian public in the role of Prince Barend in “The Little Mermaid”. For that reason he was nominated at the Flemish Musicalawards.

Afterwards he played Kaiser Franz Joseph in the musical “Elisabeth” in Stuttgart and in Füssen he was first cast Franz Joseph.

In 2007 he played King Louis XIII and cover cardinal Richelieu in “ The 3 Musketeers” at The Apollo Theatre in Stuttgart

As from April 20 2008 Peter will be on stage in Das Theater des Westens in Berlin, in a new version of “Elisabeth”.

Beside Musical, Peter sings many gala concerts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

As backing singer he joined Sara Brightman in her Tour of Honour.

He performed on Dutch TV in a gala concert for the NCRV 75 Jubilee.
