-Born Tielt, 18/05/1977
-studies with professor Luc Bergé (Royal Conservatories of Ghent and Brussels) from 1995
-1997: degree of "Kandidaat in Muziek" with distinction (Hogeschool Gent-conservatorium)
-2000: academical degree in Teaching, with distinction (Hogeschool Gent)
-2001: Master degree in Music with distinction (Meester in Muziek optie hoorn) (Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel). Final exams of horn with great distinction.
-from 2001: postgraduate studies at Orpheus Instituut, Ghent. Subject: "200 years of Begian hornschool?"
Playing Experience -from 1995: Philharmonic youth orchestra of Flanders, Brussels youth orchestra.
-1999-2001: 2nd horn with Prima la Musica chamber orchestra, free lance player with several major Belgian orchestras
-from 2001: started to play the natural horn, since then player with Il Fondamento, l`Orchestre des Champs Elysées, les Musiciens du Louvre-Grenoble, Concerto Köln, Anima Aeterna,...
-chamber music and recitals
Teaching Experience: contemporary brass and ensemble teacher in Aalst, Diksmuide and Knesselare between 1999 and 2002
-currently teacher of horn and chamber music at music schools of Tielt, Brugge and Oudenaarde. In 2008 hij became Laureat at the Orpheus Institute Ghent with his study: "200 years of Belgian hornschool, A comprehensive Study of the Horn in Belgium, 1789-1960".
