Juan Carlos Rosquete


Juan Carlos Rosquete Marquez is an accomplished saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and teacher. In his native country, Cuba, classical guitar served as his initial musical pursuit. Later, he transitioned to the oboe at the National School of Arts (ENA) in  Havana. In Belgium, he earned a master's degree at the Conservatory of Antwerp, specializing as a jazz saxophonist. He has amassed extensive experience through diverse musical projects, ranging from symphonic orchestras to various rock, pop, and jazz bands, big bands, musicals, among other endeavors. Despite being considered a Latin artist, Juan Carlos's musical projects extend beyond the confines of Latin genres. He is, instead, a versatile musician proficient in diverse genres, capable of adapting to any musical situation, both as a musician, composer and improviser.

Whether in Belgium or abroad, he has actively participated in numerous major festivals and events for TV and radio, sharing the stage with world-famous artists.  As a producer, Juan Carlos owns his own label, Delbis Records, and recording studio, Papito Studios, with numerous releases not only for his own work but also for various other artists.
