Parallel to his whole-life-long Guru-Sisha training, Bert Cornelis is connected with the Prayag Sangit Samiti, Indian Classical Music University in Allahabad (India) and trough the London based branch of the Pandit Ram Sahai Sangit Vidyalaya, where he is passing his exams of Indian Classical Music. Bert also studied Sitar and Indian Music at the Private Sangît Academy in Brussels. The Academy's Director, Daniel Schell, is a composer of Western Contemporary Classical Music and since many years a specialist of Indian Music. He organises regular Master Classes with Indian Masters and wrote an interesting book entitled'Practise of Indian Music'.
