Wouter Dekoninck


Titular-organist of the historical Penceler-organ (1714) at St.- Gertrude's church in Louvain (Belgium).

He won several prizes as a concert organist and composer and performs internationally as a soloist and basso continuo player.

He recieved a golden label for the creation of his "Grosse Messe 1739 für Bach und Luther", a new Bach-Mass which was recorded during the Thüringer Bachwochen and broadcast by the German radio MDR-Kultur.

His compositions are performed in Japan, France and Belgium.

The CD-album "Wachet auf!" with Dekoninck's compositions & transcriptions for soloviolin, recorded by Madoka Nakamaru, will be released by the label Etcetera Records in September 2023.
