Hanna Kölbel


Hanna Kölbel is a German musician with baroque and modern cello, as well as a performer and sound explorer in electronic music.
She graduated with distinction from the Musikhochschule Stuttgart with Prof. Conradin Brotbek's artistic and pedagogical Bachelor in 2013 and Master for New Music in 2015. In 2017 she graduated in the "Advanced Master in contemporary music" in Ghent, Belgium, with the thesis "ecosystems of co-creation".
In 2017 she received a scholarship from the Kunststiftung Baden Württemberg.

She lives in Liège, Belgium, and performs regularly as a guest musician in new creations and interdisciplinary collaborations with ICTUS ensemble ("Sound and Body", 2023) and LOD muziektheater ("Woman at point zero", 2022-2024).
