Duo Antwerp

The Duo Antwerp is formed by two specialists of their own instruments: Adilia Yip on the marimba and Daniel Belloví on the bass clarinet.

'Antwerp' is the name given to the duo, as it is the European city where the duo had its first rehearsal in late 2010 and had premiered in early 2011. Although the two performers are from different parts of the world - Adilia is from Hong Kong and Daniel is from Spain - music breaks the boundaries of culture and language.

The ideal of Duo Antwerp is to arouse public attention of the unconventional marimba and bass Clarinet. Thanks to the marvellous original contemporary works and arrangements, the duo blends the colour of the two instruments and presents the fascinating sound to the public.
