Festival van Vlaanderen Brugge - MAfestival

The Flanders Festival – Musica Antiqua Bruges, now Mafestival belongs to the top festivals in the world of early music. The festival was once the cradle of historically informed performance of early music and today it is again a pioneer when it comes to reconsidering and broadening this concept. In addition to a ten day international festival characterised by a wellscreened selection of exciting performers within a common theme, MAfestival concurrently organises each year one or more competitions for young musicians. The harpsichord, the voice, the organ and/or other instruments take turns.
