BRONKS is the Dutch-speaking theatre in Brussels that creates with and for younger audiences. With a range of artistic and art educational activities, BRONKS wants to stimulate children, minors and their social circles to discover and explore their own talents and capabilities as well as the possiblilities of their surroundings, with the great city of Brussels as an excellent biotope. BRONKS is a platform for artists to translate relevant and controversial topics to a "young" audience, refering more to a young state of mind than any specific age-range. BRONKS' own productions are staged in Brussels, Flanders, Wallonia, The Netherlands and the rest of Europe. Apart from this, BRONKS also frequently coproduces performances with companies or creators of kindred artistic visions and the general programming often includes plenty of guest performers. BRONKS' artistic direction is provided by Veerle Kerckhoven and Marij De Nys.
