Tal en Thee is founded in 2010 by Maarten Van Aerschot. With its own very specific visual imagery, the company creates an intersection between visual theatre and figure theatre. Musicality, in its broadest sense, is always the starting point: Tal en Thee creates rhythmically edited multimedia performances that connect various disciplines such as music, animation film, video art, puppetry and/or sound art. The collective likes to be enveloped by artists that are not necessarily tied to the field of theatre. Tal and Thee uses this collage of techniques to create small, elaborate universes: a visual rapture for young and old.
