Collectief dOFt makes room for dance and theatre separately, as well as for the research into their combination. It was founded by Piet van Dycke, Jonas Vermeulen and Nele Vermeulen; together these three young creators form a dynamic, ambitious and promising triplet. Collectief dOFt likes to play with expectations, by leaving behind logical and linear narrative structures, and instead connecting events in a more associative way. Inspired by various artistic disciplines such as sound art, song, language, music and image, dOFt tries to show the perfection of imperfections, focusing on human habits and ways of thinking.
