Frank Maes


Frank Maes is an art historian, former senior curator of S.M.A.K. (Museum of Contemporary Art, Gent, B) and editor-in-chief of Janus Magazine. He was lecturer in School of Arts Gent and LUCA (University of Louvain, Brussels campus). Currently, he is artistic director of Emergent gallery in Veurne (Furnes, B). At the University of Amsterdam (under prof.dr. Christa Maria Lerm-Hayes) he is preparing a PhD on the Canadian sculptor Royden Rabinowitch.
