Het Wolk
Het WOLK is a theatre company founded in 2015 by Sarah Van Overwaelle. Sarah was the co-founder of De Nietjesfabriek, the youth theatre company that was discontinued in 2015 in order to let its artistic directors Freek Mariën and Sarah Van Overwaelle seek out new horizons. Sarah co-created and designed all of De Nietjesfabriek's productions and acted in Derwazeens, Vergiet, Altijd Tijd voor Taart and even a few performances of Wachten en andere heldendaden. Furthermore, she was responsible for the overall logistic support and together with Freek conceptualised the company's artistic vision. Het WOLK - like the last puff of smoke emerging from the closed factory's chimney - is the new non-profit company enabling Sarah to freely develop her ideas further and reestablish herself as a major player in the field of youth theatre.
