Perry Roberts

Perry Roberts was born in the UK in 1954 graduating from Bristol Polytechnic in 1977 with a BA in Fine Art and an MA fine Art from Goldsmiths’ College in 1989.

He moved to Antwerp in 1995 where he lives and works. He has exhibited internationally, including the USA and South america, across Europe  as well as Australia, where he was Artist in Residence at the 1998 Sydney Biennale. His work is held in many private, public and corporate collections including The arts Council of Great Britain, The Financial Services Authority, the French National Art Collection and the Museum Abteiberg, Monchengladbach.

His work has evolved over many years and manifests itself in a variety of media  but consistently examines the relationship between abstraction, architecture and language. A regular collaborator with Architects, he has recently been engaged in a number of  public commissions both in the UK and Belgium.
