Ann Vanlancker studied oboe at the conservatory in Brussels. In 1993 she was a laureate of the competition Musica Antiqua in Bruges. She plays regularly with La Petite Bande, La Chapelle Royale, Octophoros, the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, and il Gardellino.
