Comp.Marius translates and adapts classical theatre and novels, preferably comedies with an existential undertone by 20th-century authors (Beckett, Bernhard, Pagnol) and earliers authors such as August Beaumarchais and Johann Nestroy. These plays are reorganised and sometimes completely revised. The name Comp.Marius originated was created for a play from 1999 and became a key element for theatremakers Waas Gramser and Kris Van Trier.
